Marc Anthony was in Mexico recently to search for talent for his new show Q' Viva: The Chosen—and he brought us along with him! Well, not exactly—but the 43-year-old salsero gave his more than 400,000 Twitter followers a glimpse into his trip.
“Day 1 of Q' Viva. Just started production in Mexico City,” Anthony tweeted three days ago. “Having a blast! #QViva.” The singer accompanied a link to a photo of himself swarmed by people.
As we reported earlier this year, Q' Viva: The Chosen is a project backed by Anthony, his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez, American Idol’s creator Simon Fuller, and world-renowned director/choreographer Jamie King. The show will visit 21 countries in Latin American is search of the best new musical talent.
It seems as though Anthony is having a great time so far. Two days ago, he tweeted: “Piloting helicopter on my way to Bernal Mexico!/Piloteando helicoptero de camino a Bernal Mexico #QViva,” he wrote, accompanying a photo of himself on a helicopter. That same day, Anthony tweeted that he was checking out the first act at Bernal, a town in Mexico.
We look forward to seeing what else Anthony reports about his trip!
