In the winter, when I’m shivering from the cold, I look forward to the time when I’m having brunch on a warm weather day. I love brunch, sometimes it'll even end up with me dancing on top of a banquette with a mimosa in hand. Ahhh, good times.

Well, that time of the year has come and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Slowly, but surely all the restaurants are beginning their weekend brunch and Talay, with only a year under their belt, is not wasting anytime catching up. This Thai–Latin fusion spot in uptown NYC will begin their Classic Sunday Brunch this weekend from 11am–4pm with the help of production duo, Betsy Jimenez and Marlene Taveras. I know them well, and believe me when I say there’s a good chance they'll get the party started right. For the bargain basement price of $21 you get a buffet style menu including everything from mangu to spring rolls, a DJ spinning smooth Hip Hop and R&B, and, of course, the brunch must have, unlimited mimosas and sangria.
