This tried and true Dominican restaurant has had its doors open for over a decade and seems to be a favorite not only of the growing Latino community, but locals of all different backgrounds. The papaya and mango colored walls are decorated with famous Dominican art, the Latin music is pumping, and the staff is super friendly. In other words, you will definitely catch the island vibe!

Once you've tried the food, you'll feel like you’re actually back on the island—all the offerings are very fresh and authentic. If you’re health conscious it’s nice to know that they cook using only cholesterol–free canola oil and offer the option of brown rice (certainly NOT the norm in most Latin restaurants). Merengue has become very popular, but if you can’t get to them, they can come to you with their professional catering. Generally, service is a bit slow, but I'm convinced they're just trying to provide you with the truest Caribbean experience possible!
