The common backyard burger will never be the same with this mouth watering combination of flavors.
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup finey minced red onion
2 serrano chiles, seeded and finely minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. crushed chile de arbol
Smoke-and-Fire Barbecue Sauce
4 pineapple rings
4 sourdough bread rolls
1 cup shredded lettuce
1. In a bowl, combine beef, onion, chiles, salt, and chile de arbol. Mix and form into 4 patties.
2. Preheat the grill.
3. Grill burgers to desired doneness. During the last few minutes of cooking, brush with some of the barbecue sauce. While burgers are cooking, grill pineapple rings. Wrap bread rolls in foil and warm on the grill.
4. To assemble, place burger over lettuce in a roll, top with extra barbecue sauce and a pineapple ring.
