Rompope is a bottled eggnog-like rum drink. And be sure to get cream of coconut (like Coco Lopez) and not coconut cream.
1/2 cup rompope
1 1/2 cups strawberries, hulled
1 cup fresh or frozen mamey pulp
2/3 cup cream of coconut
3 cups crushed ice
1/2 cup whipped cream
1 tbsp. cassis
1. In a blender, combine rompope, strawberries, mamey pulp, cream of coconut, and crushed ice and puree until smooth.
2. In a small bowl, stir together whipped cream and cassis until well mixed. Garnish each drink with a dollop of cassis-flavored cream.
