A delicious concoction that’s sure to put anyone in a festive mood is the wonderfully scrumptious Honey Spiced Punch by Erick Castro of The Rickhouse in San Francisco. The cool rum, Brazilian cachaca, and sugar cane-based liqueur in the Honey Spiced Punch, along with sparkling water makes it a smooth, mouthwatering drink that’s made to perfection with a touch of honey syrup. Best of all, the Honey Spiced Punch takes less than five minutes to prepare and can satisfy an entire crowd.
Honey Spiced Punch Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup Cachaca (We used Leblon Cachaca)
1/2 cup Rum (We used Jamaican Rum)
1/2 cup Sugar cane-based liqueur (We used Velvet Falernum)
1 cup Lemon juice
1/4 cup Honey syrup
1/4 cup Simple syrup
8 dashes Angostura bitters
10 oz. Sparkling water
Orange Wheels
Cinnamon sticks
Apple slices
Mint sprigs
Preparation:
Place a large piece of block ice in the bowl with the above ingredients and let it rest. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, apple slices, orange wheels, and sprigs of mint.
