DESCRIPTION:
There are several variations of this tried-and-true breakfast beverage. Experiment with different types of milk and coffee, as well as with techniques for heating the milk.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup whole or condensed milk
1/4 cup brewed strong American coffee, espresso, or Cuban-style coffee
PREPARATION:
1. In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk until small bubbles appear around the edges of the pan and steam rises from the milk; make sure it does not boil. (Alternatively, steam milk in a cappuccino maker following the manufacturer´s instructions.)
2. Pour milk into mug and add coffee.
