Punch bowls are making a comeback at holiday parties in the U.S. In Latin America, however, the festive drinks contained within them never fell out of fashion. In Mexico, for example, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without Ponche Navideña; in Chile, the time-honored holiday drink is the rum, milk, and coffee concoction known as Cola de Mono; and in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands coquito is found at holiday parties throughout the season.
