Mark Indelicato is taking real life cues from Justin Suarez, the fashion obsessed character he plays on Ugly Betty. The actor has announced plans to start a specialty denim line for young people, catering to those who don’t fit into mainstream sizes.

“I want to do a jean line for boys and girls that are sometimes too skinny to fit into jeans, or sometimes a little bit too husky to fit into some jeans,” Indelicato told New York at the New York City Ballet opening last week. The line is still in the conceptual stage, but he already knows where he wants it to be sold: “I think I would start off probably at Target, at Wal-Mart, at places where a majority of the people in America are starting to buy their clothes because of the stock market and the economy.” He hopes to move to more upscale stores once the brand is established.

Aunt Betty is going to be proud – creating fashion for regular people and at sensible prices. Can we soon be expecting to see him mentioned in the pages of Mode?

Even fashion line industry had been victim of stock market downturn. It is possible to make money in the stock market – duh; why do you think Warren Buffet is so rich? However, the average dividends from stock market investments is something on the order of the low teens, on average (about 12% give or take) but they are a vital part of any investment portfolio. Given market volatility, you want to "watch the basket" so to speak – buy low, sell high, although that's common sense. It's also a good idea to maintain a diverse spread in order to minimize risks, and therefore be able to make money off of any investment you have in the stock market – and obviously, skip any IPOs on an underwater basket weaving company.
