Lots of New York City Edge at Tracy Reese

Always the hit maker, Tracy Reese, knocked it out of the tents again this season. With so many people anxiously waiting for the show to start, seats were dwindling and mine was taken. As I was almost struck down by sadness, the PR team moved this Latina to the front row seconds before the show started.

The next few minutes were so intense that I found myself picking up my jaw look after look. While a lot of other designers went the moody route, Tracy Reese sent bold, raw sophistication down the runway.

Zac Posen is a man of vision, so it was interesting to hear that he didn't quite see the vision of John Frieda Global Creative Consultant, Luigi Murenu, when he described his plans to crimp the hair for Posen's Fall 2013 runway collection. Assured by Luigi of this look, it ended up being one of the best this season, easily.

This season, Custo Barcelona's collection was inspired by Beauty & The Beast. Though not the Disney rendition, the famed Spanish designer's focus was sexy and full of fluidity, aka the beauty. Yet, it also had a hardness of sorts, the beast. We saw a collection full of textures, short dresses and winter coats with intricate sleeve details, sporty sweatshirts with feminine design details that were all complimented with a hair look created by Duffy for Oribe.

This brave new world, with its instant gratification via live tweets and pictures via Instagram and Facebook, has transcended the fashion industry since Kenneth Cole's last runway show nearly a decade ago.

Latina Celebs and The 'Angelina Jolie Leg' Effect

When Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet at the 2012 Oscars, she did more than show a little leg. With her pose, she started an internet sensation. Memes, parody Twitter accounts and names for the stance (including "legbombing" and "Jolieing") took hold of the public and their computer screens. But the world hasn't seen the last of the leg show: numerous celebrities have hit the red carpet and are making a show of their own. Click through the stars who have been caught Jolieing and let us know, would you ever be caught doing the pose?
