Latinos are known for taking bold fashion risks, and reggaeton artist J Balvin is no exception. His unique estilo caught the attention of New York Fashion Week, who this week revealed that the Colombian star will be one of its men's ambassadors.
"I’m honored and thankful to be partnering with the prestigious CFDA as one of the menswear ambassadors for fashion week," the "Safari" singer said. "My love for music only matches my interest in fashion, and I'm blessed to be given an opportunity to learn about some of my favorite designers from a firsthand look at their latest collections. I look forward to sharing my behind the scenes access with my fans across the word to help push the culture forward, Let's go!"
This isn't Balvin's first stint in the fashion scene. Last year, the reggaetonero was spotted at the Rochambeau Spring Summer 2017 and the "Chanel Collection des Metiers d'Art 2016/17: Paris Cosmopolite."
NYFW: Men's kicks off Jan. 30 and will last until Feb. 2.
