Latinas, stand up! As we all celebrate Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s momentous achievement today, we’d like to announce the sale of our exclusive Wise Latina T-shirts. We can’t let a few misguided senators turn Sotomayor’s inspirational words into something negative. That’s why we’re exalting each and every Wise Latina with these proud, inspirational T-shirts—reminders of the empowering message Sotomayor was trying to send.

Proceeds from the sale of each T-shirt will go to the Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls.

I used to have a few custom t shirts like this! I love plain black with a simple design that doesn’t take over the whole t shirt. Two many designs these days go crazy with lots of images and color which I think ruins them.

I agree 100% with ELECTRAGARRIGO. How I wish I had read her warning before I ordered. I was just too trusting in your do-good video. ...and Sotomayor's ethics were questioned... I question yours. When I placed the order, I felt good that part of the proceeds of my 3 shirts went to a charitable cause. Now I don't feel good about the other part that went to you for Tee's that do not even fit my granddaughters. It seems that your Small shirt is about the size of a child's size 6!!!!!! Guess whose products I will not be recommending?

WARNING: Unfortunately, the Wise Latina XL tee-shirt barely fits a standard size medium and it is not returnable. This is really disappointing and not exactly fair: it does not do JUSTICE to the person being honored with the tee-shirt. Shame on you!

I think this is a wildly inappropriate phrase to celebrate. If I said I were a wise white girl I would be rightfully criticized. The color of her skin is not relevant. I am going to buy a T shirt and wear it proudly, with my white skin and blonde hair, and see if anyone understands the irony.

The mere fact that we honor our heritage, culture, food, music, etc... only means that as Latina women, we know who we are, where we come from, and damn proud of it. I live in the south and I do not get offeneded by the Confederate flag, nor just because I look Hispanic, automatically I am asked for my green card.... This t-shit represents how we feel about ourselves...not how we feel or do not feel about anyone else. It is what it is!!!!

exactly, Whoever you are you should be proud of that heritage and it is hard to judge exaclty what background people come from since we all different. I. It shouldn't matter, rock the "T" anyhow if for nothing else than to show your support for beautiful latina women and inspire others to be proud of themselves and our diverse nation.
