Remember when MK & A were the biggest mini-moguls on the block? Cue Selena Gomez, the just-turned-18-year-old star who got her big break on Disney's The Wizards of Waverly Place and who starred in the just-released film Ramona and Beezus. This Sunday, the teen queen's new fashion line hits K-mart stores.
The Dream Out Loud collection defines Selena's characteristic girly-grunge style, including slouchy beanie caps, oversized sweater tops, ruffles, the occasional exposed zipper, and fringed and embellished accessories. The line runs the gamut of a cute teen's wardrobe from head-to-toe. Yes—shoes, handbags, clothing and accessories are coming down the pipeline from the stylish star's perfectly timed collection (can you say, "Back to School?").
It's a strong business move in cementing Selena's position as a celeb force to be reckoned with, and the clothes are genuinely fashionable, age-appropriate and tasteful. Her fans are sure to love it.
