The world lost one of its brightest and most celebrated fashion designers today. Alexander McQueen took his own life at the age of 40. The designer, born and raised in London, worked his way up to become a favorite among celebrities and fashion lovers all over the globe. He was named British Fashion Designer of the Year on four separate occasions, and his clothes—known for their drama and impeccable tailoring—graced countless red carpets.
