Nicole Richie is making moves to expand her fashion empire. WWD reports that the pregnant star has signed on with Creative Brands Group to create a line of limited apparel, shoes and accessories—including handbags, sunglasses and belts—under her House of Harlow 1960 lifestyle brand. The collection, which will hit department stores and select boutiques in spring 2010, will be under Richie's full creative control, says CBG honcho Rick Cytrynbaum: “Nicole is designing everything herself. She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her."
Richie's boho chic-inspired House of Harlow jewelry line launched in late 2008 at Kitson to much excitement, and the fashonista has already been spotted promoting new pieces for the spring. We can wait to see what her shoes and handbags will look like! How about you?
