Fashion Week Spotlight: Oscar de la Renta

The Oscar De La Renta SS 2011 collection was everything we've ever dreamed of and more! The Dominican-born designer created a collection of picture-perfect knee length dresses and skirts in a variety of yellow, blue, green, pink and nude hues.

Throughout the show, a belted-waist seemed to be the unifying theme, cinching almost every dress, blazer and suit that de la Renta sent down the runway. This designer never gets caught up in the latest trends, but he did show a few fashion forward jumpsuits with wide-leg pants. The show ended with Oscar's signature red carpet-ready ball gowns.

Whether or not you're into the classic looks of Oscar de la Renta, these pieces call out to every woman's inner girly girl!
