Fashion Week Spotlight: Daisy Fuentes' High End, Low Price Line for Kohl's

Tom Concordia

Daisy Fuentes's Spring 2012 show for Kohl's hosted by STYLE360 was surprisingly impressive! She drew inspiration from the south of France’s chic beach style for a collection that celebrates color and print.

While we know the Cuban beauty has fabulous taste, Fuentes really outdid herself by making her affordable line look like ready-to-wear high-end clothes that every girl will want. Every piece that strutted down the catwalk seemed fitting for the cool, confident women who wants to look effortlessly glam. The styles range from a sexy crochet and jersey maxi dress to an airy lightweight blue reptile printed chiffon caftan to a silk midi dress with lace. The line comes in bright, beautiful colors like blue, green, and pink - along with some neutral nudes and whites. Even though most of the collection screamed Spring and Summer casual, there were also a few sharply tailored jackets and fitted pants that would blend perfectly with the more relaxed dresses and skirts on display.

Kudos to Daisy Fuentes!
