Camila Alves's Brand New Bags and Gisele's Walking Pretty

Latinos are taking over the world (just look at the census, and our recent post on J.Lo!) and apparently fashion and beauty are part of our domination as well.

Fashion guru Oscar del le Renta, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, and supermom Camila Alves have all recently launched new lines in 2011. The Dominican designer has a new fragrance, Espirit d’ Oscar, that hits stores in two weeks—but in the meantime de la Renta  started a Facebook campaign to allow fans the opportunity to get free samples before the scent is available to the public.

Gisele Bundchen presented her sandal collection, Ipanema, in Istanbul, Turkey. The line features cute, comfy, and casual embellished sandals. And fellow Brazilian Camilla Alves added an affordable line to her Muxo handbag collection, designed exclusively for QVC. When asked who the bags are made for Camila responded, "All women. A lot of the bags are big: I’m on the go like a lot of women. I have my workout clothes in my bag, my laptop, my kids’ stuff. And I can still go to dinner or cocktails without going home to change.” It seems like Camilla has a point since her bags are selling like hotcakes.

Kudos to all three Latinos for expanding their empires!
