When Evelyn Lozada told us recently that Chad Ochocinco wanted to upgrade her already incredibly impressive engagement ring, two things crossed our mind: First, you go girl! Second, is the ring ever really big enough for some celebs (we're talking to you too Kim Kardashian)?
Here's to the celebs who went all out, got blingy with their engagement rings and gave us something to talk about and drool over in the office. Some rings are huge (like Lozada's!) and some are sort of medium (sort of), but they all reflect the personality of the lovely lady wearing them.

Nick Cannon put a ring on it in 2009 in a major way, designing a $2.5 million stunner with famed Jacob & Co jewelers. The result was a 17-carat(!) square emerald-cut pink center diamond surrounded by 58 intense pink diamonds and two half-moon diamonds on each side.
At the time, La Lopez was claiming her love don’t cost a thing, but Ben Affleck apparently believed otherwise! The Boston-bred actor popped a 6.1 carat pink diamond Harry Winston on the diva’s finger and reportedly dropped a cool 1.2 million! The two eventually called off their engagement at the last minute in 2004 and the huge rock was sold in 2005. No word has leaked on whether the profits went into Ben or Jen’s pockets.
Cash Warren asked gorgeous Mexicana actress Jessica Alba to marry him and just like that, the dreams of a million men evaporated into thin air. Warren seemed to keenly aware that he was marrying one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood when he hit her with a gorgeous antique-inspired 5-carat asscher cut ring featuring a thick side band encrusted with even more diamonds.

Although Ferrera’s been intensely private when it comes to discussing her private life, she had no problems flaunting the 4-carat round-cut diamond in a platinum setting with an estimated $70,000 price tag at the premiere of The Illusionist in Scotland at the Edinburgh Film festival in June of 2010!
