Lourdes Leon, 12, strolled the streets of Buenos Aires on Tuesday looking like a cute extra from one of her mother's earliest music videos. The tween trendsetter rocked acid wash jeans, a black fishnet top and yellow plastic Ray Ban Wayfarers while touring the South American city with brothers Rocco and David and her mother, Madonna, who is in town for her "Sticky and Sweet" tour.
We love that little Lola makes bold fashion choices (she is Madonna's child, after all), but we can't deny that we're desperately afraid of acid wash jeans making a mainstream comback. They may seem edgy and cool to the pre-teen set, but they represent nothing but dark, scary fashion memories for those of us who wore them proudly back in the day (shudder).
Tell us what you think! Do you like Lourdes' '80s style? What trends from the '80s do you love the most? And which ones would you like to keep firmly planted in the past?
