2000:
J.Lo’s green Versace number is probably the most famous gown to walk the Grammy red carpet to date! Besides showing the power of double-sided tape, the palm tree-print green dress featuring a very deep-plunge neckline transformed the Boricua star into a fashion icon almost overnight. After the awards, J.Lo reacted to all of the fashion hype by delcaring, "It was a nice dress. I had no idea it was going to become such a big deal."
The "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer, who walked the red carpet with then boyfriend P. Diddy, was also celebrating the release of her debut album "On the 6," which sold three million copies by the summer of 2000.
