A Fashionista Dream: Salma Hayek & Alexander McQueen
By Miranda Noland | 05/02/2011 - 14:35 | 0 Comments
Tonight is quite possibly the biggest night in fashion—the Metropolitan Musuem of Art's Costume Institute's annual gala. Every year, the event draws the biggest names in the fashion, modeling and entertainment worlds. Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty is the exhibit that will be opening at the MET after the gala. Salma Hayek and her husband Francois-Henri Pinault are serving as honorary chairs.
Ever since the designer's death a little over a year ago, Salma has paid homage to him by wearing his designs every chance she gets. (It might have something to do with the fact that her husband is the CEO of the Gucci Group, which owns the McQueen label.) Check out all of Salma's McQueen tributes and be sure to check back in with us tomorrow to see all of the best fashions from the gala.
For InStyle's June 2010 issue, Salma worked one of the late designer's snakeskin dresses on the cover. We think she pulled it off quite well.
