William Levy Says No to Texting While Driving

William Levy is standing up for a cause and wants all of us to be safer behind the wheel.

The Cuban actor is bringing awareness about the dangers of texting while driving and urging fans to sign a no texting while driving pledge. According to the U.S Department of Transportation, an estimated 3,000 people were killed in 2010 over distracted driving cases.

The "Single Ladies" star, who is currently in the running to star in the adaptation of the hit novel, 50 Shades of Grey, recently signed the AT&T No Text on Board Pledge and tweeted, "It's not cool to text & drive."

A Virgina Tech Transportation Institute report also states that individuals who text and drive are 23 times more likely to get into an accident than fully alert drivers.

Take the no texting while driving pledge today! We are sure you'll make William proud (wink).
