Will Jennifer Lopez Be the Next 'American Idol' Judge?

Reports are circulating that Jennifer Lopez may sign on to be the next American Idol judge for the upcoming season 10--replacing Ellen Degeneres, who announced that she has chosen to leave the show after just one season. Meanwhile judge Kara DioGuardi reportedly was fired.
Perhaps, in the midst of working on her own albums, touring the world, shooting movies and solidifying her comeback, La Lopez wants to give back (and bank a fat check--we're sure!) by critiquing newcomers. Lopez did appear as a guest mentor on Idol in 2007. Could it be she fell in love with the idea of sitting behind that long table?
