Well… you can’t make everyone happy. Boricua journalist María Celeste Arrarás was apparently so upset at our November cover girl Salma Hayek for cancelling a recent scheduled appearance on her Telemundo show Al Rojo Vivo that she felt the need to express it on television, AOL Latino reports.
As she spoke directly into the camera, the 51-year-old journalist said Hayek had confirmed to appear on Al Rojo Vivo but cancelled last minute. The actress’ publicist cited personal reasons over the schedule change and said Hayek’s schedule was too jammed, but Maria Celeste seemed to take the issue personally.
“Sadly for Hayek, Al Rojo Vivo’s audience isn’t important and doesn’t deserve any respect,” she said. “All that’s left to say is it’s her loss.” Check out Arrarás’ video below:
Even though Hayek didn’t appear on Al Rojo Vivo, the 45-year-old actress did stop by Despierta América alongside her Puss in Boots co-star, Spanish actor Antonio Banderas. Together, the pair spoke about their new DreamWorks film, which hits theaters next week. “For me, doing Puss in Boots was irresistible,” Hayek said. “I had to do this role because I love Puss in Boots.”
