After a career that has spanned over three decades, Barbara Walters has announced that she will retire from television journalism, including her show The View, in the summer of 2014. She will remain as the Executive Producer of the show, which has never included a Latina as a permanent co-host in the show’s 16-year history. It’s time for change, and co-host Sherri Shepard would agree.
