The new trailer for the second season of The Voice is out, and we’re excited to see our favorite Latina judge return to her bold red chair. Part-Ecuadorian songstress Christina Aguilera is featured prominently in the preview for the new season of The Voice, debuting after the Super Bowl on February 5.
“We’re just waiting on pins and needles to find out what those first few notes sound like,” 30-year-old Aguilera said of the blind auditions. Aguilera is reportedly the highest paid judge on the show, making more than $225,000 an episode.
In the trailer, Aguilera’s co-judge Cee Lo Green said “the world will definitely be watching.” We will see about that, but there is much to look forward to in the second season of the reality singing competition. Last month, we reported that Afro-Cubana singer/actress Christina Milian was appointed the new social media correspondent for The Voice.
Two Latinas in The Voice means two reasons to celebrate!
