The best way to gauge who's going to win on tonight's finale of NBC's The Voice is to look at the iTunes charts. Why? Because every time a contestant's song is downloaded on iTunes, that contestant gets 1 vote from America. So who's currently leading the voting on ITunes?
Unfortunately, neither Vicci Martinez or Javier Colon (the two Latino finalists in the competition) are currently #1. Instead, it's Dia Frampton, the girl with the raspy voice who was pitch-perfect in her delivery of the original song, "Inventing Shadows."
But there's still hope. Part-Dominican, part-Puerto Rican contestant Javier Colon is gaining ground on Dia's 1st place status and currently stands at #3 on ITunes for his original song, "Stich by Stitch." Surprisingly, fan favorite, Vicci Martinez isn't even in the top 10 on ITunes, but we're not entirely surprised. While she's probably the most original artist in the competition, her original song "Afraid to Sleep," was literally sleepy. For someone like Vicci, whose appeal lies in the fact that she can rock out like few others can, the song lacked energy and was not on the same level as her past performances.
While both Javier and Vicci didn't give their best solo performances, they both shined during the duet portion of the competition. Colon nearly resurrected Michael Jackson with his brilliant vocals on "Man In the Mirror" with his coach, Adam Levine, while Vicci joined Cee-Lo Green in what could go down as the craziest televised musical performance of all-time—see for yourself below!
