Video: Salsa Dancing Granny Wows Crowd on Spain's "Tú Sí Que Vales"

British grandmother Paddy Jones, 75, stole the show on Spain's equivalent of America's Got Talent, Tú Sí Que Vales. When she steps on to the stage you can see the judges doubting the fact that this older woman could possibly be capable of performing a convincing salsa acrobatica, but boy does she prove them wrong! Appearing on stage with a partner 40 years her junior, Jones proceeded to execute a series of thrilling flips, turns and whirls that most would find downright impossible at any age.

And ever since, Jones says her life has changed. "It's crazy—life has just turned upside down. We're absolutely over the moon. I never really expected it," she told the local Stourbridge News. "Since then we've been recognized everywhere. I was in the doctor's and people were coming up to me, and at the supermarket and even when I went to fill up with petrol. It's absolutely wonderful." Jones returned to dance five years ago after her husband died to keep herself occupied and fell in love with salsa.
