Salma Hayek's interview with David Letterman last night had several must-see moments. (Watch them in the video below). The late-night host asked the actress all about the state of her relationship with on-and-off fiancée, Francois Henri-Pinault--"Who is this guy? Do I know him?" he says, confused--and she danced all around the issue. Brilliantly, we might add!
When Letterman wonders whether Salma plans to marry the French mogul, she coyly replies, "I don't know...I don't know...maybe. But then again, maybe not." Letterman then says, "See, I have a 5-year-old and we're not married," to which Salma quickly responds, "And it's great, right?"
Salma, who plugged her guest stint as a Puerto Rican nurse on 30 Rock and revealed that she's on board for a sixth episode of the show, adds that she and Francois are raising their daughter, Valentina Paloma, to be a trilingual tot. "Valentina now understands, perfectly well, French, Spanish and English, and she mixes the words. And she picks them up...I don't know what she's gonna say next. I don't try to force her into words. Although I do wish, she could say 'thank you,' instead of 'WATER!' "
Can any of you relate to Salma relationship status? What are the perks of being not-married with children?
