Sofia Vergara Said Something Silly—Again!

This past weekend, the Colombian poster child for foot-in-your-mouth syndrome fell off the wagon again. During an Emmy Rountable hosted by The Hollywood Reporter attended by Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, Glee’s Jane Lynch, The Middle’s Patricia Heaton, Cougar Town’s Courtney Cox, Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman and Wanda Sykes (The Wanda Sykes Show), the funny ladies were asked who they thought the best living comedian was. Vergara immediately answered "Lucy!”—referring to Lucille Ball, star of I Love Lucy. (Sofia, the fact that your favorite living actress died in 1989 makes you the funniest woman alive!)

In news that's less embarrassing for Latinos, is reporting that Christina Aguilera will guest star on the season finale of HBO’s Entourage. Word is Aguilera will play herself on the show, and she’ll perform “as a favor” to Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven).

And finally, Lost alum Nestor Carbonell has joined the cast of the USA Network show, Psych. He’ll play Delcan Rand, a criminal profiler who becomes a rival for Shawn (James Roday) when the show premieres July 14th.
