Christina Milian is back and stronger than ever. The singer/actress stars in her first movie, since having her daughter Violet, and going through a very public divorce from music producer, The Dream (aka Terius Nash). Christina’s mother, Carmen, tells Latina that Christina is ready to be back: “She’s more of a fighter. You can be weak when you fall in love. You can get distracted. But when you have a child, things are different. You have to be a fighter.”
Milian's new movie, Christmas Cupid airing on ABC Family this Sunday, December 12 at 8:00 p.m., will also feature the TV debut of “Oh Santa” from Mariah Carey’s new Christmas album. In the movie, Milian plays a high-powered Hollywood publicist who finds herself haunted by the ghost of a former client (Ashley Benson).
"I drew the character based on a few publicists I've come across in my career,” Millian told us. "Basically their job is everything and they become so jaded they get a false sense of reality and become consumed with their job 24-7.”
These days, Christina is fearless, even when it comes to real-life ghosts. "I think when I first moved in my house it was haunted, but me and them get along now," said Millian. "They don't bother anybody.”
Christmas Cupid premieres this Sunday, December 12 at 8:00 ET/PT.
