Yet again, Ronda Rousey is stepping out of the ring and onto your TV screen.
The MMA fighter is set to appear in NBC's Blindspot as a guest star, according to Variety. Rousey will play Devon Penberthy, a female prison inmate from New Hampshire who is serving time for "transporting weapons across state lines." Her character is described as "a tough, athletic woman who knows how to fight and handle a weapon."
Though this certainly won't be Rousey's first time on TV, it's been quite some time since we last saw her out of the ring. In January of 2016, the fighter channeled her inner comedian on Saturday Night Live. Previously, she played Turtle's love interest on Entourage and starred in Furious 7 and The Expendables 3. Rousey was also confirmed to star in Tina Fey's upcoming comedy Do Nothing Bitches, as well as a remake of Roadhouse. Recently, the star's house was vandalized after her devastating loss at UFC 207. The former champion's house was reportedly marked up with ineligible black graffiti after being defeated by Amanda Nunes.
The show, currently in its second season, stars Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton and tells the story of a mysterious, New York-based "Jane Doe" scenario. Rousey will star in this season's upcoming 20th episode.
