Fox wants a double dose of J.Lo!
The network is looking to bank on Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s newest talent show ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen, which is currently on Univision and features the two pop icons searching for new talent throughout Latin America.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox plans to air the hit show beginning with two-hour time slots starting Saturday, March 3rd and wrapping up for its finale April 7th. The new reality show is set to compete with other hit talent shows like X Factor and So You Think You Can Dance.
The acquired television program is a hot piece of commodity after the huge ratings increase it has provided for Univision. The show targeting English-speaking Latino viewers debuted with 2.2 million viewers and increased the Spanish-speaking network’s ratings among the 18-49 and 18-34 demographics.
J.Lo, who currently makes upwards of $20 million for her appearance on American Idol alone, will have more than 60 hours of airtime on the Fox network.
Can you say we are all feeling the J.Lo effect?
