POLL: Did CNN do the right thing in Firing Rick Sanchez?

Rick Sanchez was unceremoniously fired from CNN over the weekend for inflammatory comments he made about both The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, and media ownership.

During a recent appearance on the SiriusXM radio, Stand Up! With Pete Dominick, Sanchez went on a rant in which he called Jon Stewart a "bigot" and made claims about Jews controlling the media. 

"The people in this country who are Jewish—are an oppressed minority? Yeah," The Cuban-American reporter scoffed sarcastically. 

"I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart," continued Sanchez, "A lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart."

CNN immediately fired Sanchez, releasing a statement that read: "Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well."
