A hearty congratulations goes out to Paola Guanche, the winner of Telemundo’s La Voz Kids.
According to Huffington Post Latino Voices, the 12-year-old is the first ever winner on the Spanish-language and children’s version of The Voice. After 13 weeks of featuring young hopefuls, the Floridian tween won by popular vote.
Guanche was a member of Prince Royce’s team. In a press release, the 24-year-old bachata superstar raved about his mentee.
“Paola has an exceptional talent that has impressed everyone,” Royce said in a written statement. “Through this show she has demonstrated excellence in all musical genres.”
