Natalie Morales Promoted to News Anchor on the 'Today' show

It's official, Meredith Vieira is leaving the Today show and our girl Natalie Morales is getting promoted to the position of News Anchor on the number one morning news show in the country! Ann Curry will be filling Vieira's shoes alongside Matt Lauer and the new team will start in June.

President of NBC News Steve Capus said in a statement, "Natalie has been an invaluable addition to Today since she joined from MSNBC in 2006, and she is a true example of someone who rose up through the ranks. Whether she’s in the field or in the studio, Natalie is a steadfast and compassionate reporter who is always at the top of her game."
