Even a Ton of Money Couldn't Keep Cote de Pablo From Leaving 'NCIS'

NCIS fans aren’t the only ones who don't want Cote de Pablo to leave the show. According to the Huffington Post, the Chilean-born actress’ CBS team really didn’t want her to exit.

During the Television Critics Association Summer 2013 press tour, CBS CEO Les Moonves addressed the news that De Pablo was indeed departing from the beloved series. For eight of the show’s 10 seasons, the actress has played special agent Ziva David, a former agent for Israel's Mossad.

"We offered Cote a lot of money and then we offered her even more money," Moonves said. "We really didn't want to lose her. We love her ... We obviously were in discussion with the rest of the cast and the producers [and Cote]. Ultimately, she decided she didn't want to do the show."
