Modern Family is about to get a new addition to la familia!

Elizabeth Peña will guest star as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett's (played by Sofia Vergara) mom named Pilar on the hit ABC comedy, EW reports.

The Cuban-American actress, known for her role in La Bamba, will make her appearance during the 12th episode of the season. Shooting for their episode titled, "Fulgencio," starts today. We wonder if that will be the name of Sofia's future baby!

In addition, joining her will be Gloria's sister Sonia, played by The Closer's Stephanie Beatriz. The show's executive producer, Christopher Lloyd, admits that sibling drama is to be expected.

“There’s a bit of a competitive relationship between Gloria and her sister that will be fun," he revealed, "The mother is the formidable, domineering character in the family, and has a complicated relationship with Jay. I’m not sure she’s ever completely accepted Jay, and they lock horns in the episode."

We can't wait to see these ladies in action! What do you think about more Latinos joining the Modern Family cast?
