Marc Anthony has returned to his roots!
The 43-year-old salsero recently traveled to Puerto Rico for Q’Viva: The Chosen, his reality talent show with estranged wife, superstar actress/singer Jennifer Lopez. What’s even better is that he’s been updating his more than 500,000 Twitter followers about his journey.
On Tuesday, Anthony tweeted, “Auditions for #QViva going great at Isla del Encanto, my Puerto Rico!” As he often does, the singer added a Spanish translation afterwards.
Yesterday, Anthony wrote that he had a great time at El Morro for auditions for the show. “What an amazing set up!” he wrote, accompanying a photo of himself, laughing with a band. The message was re-tweeted by more than 20 followers, some of whom praised him. “Love that picture,” wrote one follower.
As we reported earlier this year, Q' Viva: The Chosen is a show backed by Anthony, J.Lo, American Idol’s creator Simon Fuller, and world-renowned director/choreographer Jamie King. Both Anthony and Lopez have begun their search through 21 countries in Latin America for the next best talent.
“What a beautiful place! I had a great time in El Morro searching for talent for Q’Viva #PuertoRico #MiGente #QViva” Anthony tweeted yesterday, accompanying another photo.
Anthony kicked off his end of the show’s bargain last month in Mexico, posting images of himself in a helicopter and surrounded by a swarm of people in Mexico City.
