The 2016 Rio Olympics ended a week ago, and Laurie Hernandez already has her schedule packed. Now, she can put ballroom dancer on her impressive résumé.

ET has confirmed the Olympic gymnast will completing for the mirrorball trophy in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Hernandez says that she’d delighted if chosen to compete.

"The thought of it sounds really cool," Hernandez said to Us Weekly. "We have the tour coming up, so we’ll see what goes on with that, but I love Dancing with the Stars, I watched it all the time when I was little."

So far, the 16-year-old is getting great response for her DWTS appearance. Dancer Mark Ballas even tweeted, “I absolutely adore @lzhernandez02 just gorgeous #starpower #needadanceteacher?#RioOlympics2016.”

Hernandez is not only Olympian featured on the lineup. She will also be joined by fellow Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte. Other cast members include Amber Rose, JoJo Fletcher and Jake T. Austin.

After wining gold and silver in Rio, we bet she’ll slay this competition. DWTS premieres Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m..
