Yesterday, TLC announced that it was pulling the plug on Kat Von D's tattoo shop series, LA Ink after four seasons. "TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last," the network said in a statement. "The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D's journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles. The series finale will air September 15th at 10 p.m."
Following the network's announcement, the Argentinean-Mexican reality star took to her personal Twitter page and denied that the decision to end the show came from TLC. "I love how me deciding to not continue doing LA Ink, turns into being 'cancelled,'" she tweeted. "Thanks @TLC."
While Von D accused the network of manipulating footage of her and Jesse James, she also said she was "grateful" for the opportunity, but is "ready to end this chapter" and focus on other projects.
Then Von D shocked her fans by posting photos of herself being affectionate with her ex-fiancé, Jesse James to her Twitter account – which led to speculation that the couple, who called off their engagement last month, are back together.
James made it official, telling People.com that the engagement is back on. "Sometimes you are only given one chance in life," he said. "It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her."
