ABC Officially Orders Pilot of J.Lo's New Family Show

Jennifer Lopez’s international tour with Enrique Iglesias may be winding down, but the Boricua superstar is already focusing on her next project.

ABC has officially green-lighted a pilot from J.Lo’s production company, Nuyorican Productions. The new series, titled The Fosters, will focus on the life of a lesbian couple in a diverse household. J.Lo will serve as executive producer for the series, which will be co-created and written by, Peter Paige, Brad Bredeweg, Simon Fields, and Greg Gugliotta.

According to Business Week, J.Lo’s production company is also developing additional television shows including a romantic comedy titled, Taming Ben Taylor and Sweet Little 15, a Latina’s coming-of-age story.
