Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have become pros at maintaining a healthy friendship after announcing their split last year. During the latest episode of Q'Viva! The Chosen, their connection was apparent after J.Lo broke down during a performance by Christian Nieves.
The contestant played the cuatro guitar, which caused an emotional rush of nostalgia for J.Lo. She explained to Extra TV, “I had lost my grandmother, my aunt and my uncle all in one year, and so Christmases are kind of funny now. The performer was playing an instrument that was very Puerto Rican, and when he was playing it just reminded me of Christmas and it made me think of family."
During her emotional segment, ex-husband Marc Anthony consoled the Puerto Rican pop star. Lopez talked about her relationship with Anthony post-divorce, “You know what, at the end of the day we are parents first and we are friends. We got to make it work.” J.Lo was spotted vacationing with new beau Casper Smart in Brazil last month, while Anthony attended the Grammys with model girlfriend Shannon de Lima.
