Despite their pending divorce, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony seem to still work well together.
The Boricua superstars reunited last week in Puerto Rico for their reality talent competition Q’Viva: The Chosen. A source close to People magazine said that 42-year-old singer/actress and 43-year-old salsero were shooting scenes together for the show for the first time. “They were there to audition talent,” the source added.
As we previously reported, Q’Viva: The Chosen is backed by Anthony, J.Lo, American Idol’s creator Simon Fuller, and world-renowned director/choreographer Jamie King. In an interview with AOL Latino earlier this year, King described the show as a celebration of Latin America. “The beauty, the splendor, the complexity and all the color that make up Latin America,” he told the website. “Our intention is to show that to the rest of the world.”
As for Anthony and Lopez, both said they would continue on with their commitment to Q’Viva: The Chosen despite their July announcement that they were splitting after seven years of marriage. Lopez and Anthony have been busy traveling through Latin America for the show; Anthony has already stopped by Puerto Rico and Mexico, and Lopez kicked off her end of the search in Argentina recently.
We aren’t sure what’s going on with Anthony’s personal life, but J.Lo’s recently been linked to 24-year-old Casper Smart, one of her backup dancers, after being wooed by "Sexiest Man Alive" Bradley Cooper.
