Adios Jersey Shore: 5 Latino Connections

With the series finale of Jersey Shore airing tonight, here are a handful of Latino links to the MTV hit reality show.

1. Jersey Shore: Ronnie

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

You don’t have to be a full Italian American to be a full guido. Case in point: Ronnie Ortiz Magro. The short-fused, tanned, muscle head is proud of both his Italian and Puerto Rican roots. Here’s a big “wepa” and “arrivederci” to our favorite guido Puerto Rican.

2. Jersey Shore: Miami

Season 2 saw the tanned and the restless take their talents to South Beach—home of hot and sexy Latinos and Latinas. Party rockin’ and shots ensued.

3. Jersey Shore: Enrique

Enrique Iglesias

You’re kind of a big deal when you outshine Enrique Iglesias in his music video. At the height of their success the GTL squad ran amuck on the Spanish singer’s hit, “I Like It,” off 2010’s Jersey Shore Soundtrack

4. Jersey Shore: Pitbull

The master of guest appearances couldn’t be left behind of the Jersey mania. Pit jumped on Iglesias’s “I Like It” banger and laid a hot verse. The fist pump quota went through the roof.

5. Jersey Shore: Snooki & JWoww

Snooki & JWoww

Ahh…the reluctant Latinas. Snooki (Chilean) and JWoww (Spanish and Irish). Neither guidette ever truly embraced their roots. It’s fine. Ronnie’s pride made up for both of them.
