Javier Bardem visited Jay Leno last night in his first talk show appearance since his wife Penelope Cruz gave birth to their son, who may (or may not be) named Leo according to new reports from Spanish media outlets who claim that director Santiago Segura let the name slip to local press. Segura was attempting to chastise the local paparazzi, telling them, "I know what you want and you don't understand why they don't come running to show off the baby and say, 'Look, here's Leo,' "
When pressed about the name, Segura replied, "Yeah, Leo. I think so. That's what I heard but they haven't confirmed anything."
But last night on The Tonight Show, though Bardem graciously accepted Leno's congratulations on the baby's arrival, he remained mum on any further details regarding his bundle of joy, preferring to keep the chat focused on the upcoming Academy Awards and his nominated performance in Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu's film, Biutiful.
