Javier Bardem to Hand Over an Oscar on Sunday

While there’s no way to know for sure whether Javier Bardem will win the Best Actor award at this Sunday’s Oscars, one thing's for sure: the Spaniard will be presenting someone else with a little golden guy.

According to Variety, Bardem is the latest Hollywood A-lister to sign on as a presenter for this year’s Academy Awards. Other stars who will be presenting at the awards show include fellow Oscar winners Helen Mirren, Hilary Swank, Cate Blanchett, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, and Tom Hanks. (Bardem won his first and only Oscar to date for his supporting turn in the Coen Brothers’ Best Picture-winning film, No Country for Old Men). He is a nominee this year in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category, for his nuanced performance in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Biutiful, which is also nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.

And speaking of the Oscars, former MTV VJ-turned-entrepreneur Daisy Fuentes has joined TV Guide Network’s Oscars red carpet coverage. Joined by supermodel Paulina Porizkova and hairstylist Tabatha Coffey, Fuentes will appear on Academy Awards Red Carpet with Chris Harrison, where she will discuss the night’s best and worst looks with designer Nick Verreos. Then on Monday, Fuentes, Porizkova, Coffey and Verreos will criqitue the most memorable dresses of the night on Academy Awards Red Carpet Fashion Wrap.

The 83rd annual Academy Awards will air live this Sunday, Feb. 27th at 8/5p on ABC.
