Mogollon said mun2 met with Rivera’s family and “together, we decided to, in Jenni’s words, ‘finish what we started.’” The final season premiered this past Sunday and, according to Mogollon, mun2 made history as the number one Hispanic cable networks across all demos.

“This season is a family – and our farewell – for Jenni and her fans,” she said. “Jenni’s legacy lives on.”

In addition to the discontinuation of I Love Jenni, Chiquis N' Control will also not be renewed. However, mun2 did introduce a crop of new shows, including Viva Los Vargas, which centers on former boxing champ Fernando Vargas and family and  Horoscopos, reality show based on Mexican regional artists Horoscopos de Durango.
