In TNT's new sci-fi series, Falling Skies (premiering Sunday at 9/8c), Mexican actress Seychelle Gabriel stars as Lourdes, a pre-med student who works in a makeshift hospital helping wounded people and conducting scientific experiments. Seychelle's hot new role in this drama (produced by Steven Spielberg) got us thinking about our favorite Latina sci-fi queens.

She was nearly 18 when James Cameron cast the Mexican American beauty in the breakout role of her career, Max Guevara, a genetically enhanced super-soldier created Frankenstein-style in a secret government lab known as Manticore, who tries to have some semblance of a normal life.
